WE NEVER FORGET - Dedicated to Those Who Serve

The freedoms we have are not free; they come at a cost. Within this site, we pay homage to those who have paid that price for our freedom.

In gratitude to our Veterans – who left behind family, friends, their dearests, wives and husbands, the comforts of home to fight for freedom and democracy; standing for those that suffer in far off countries, fighting to ensure our freedoms continue.

So many of whom, though long retired from active duty, still serve our communities through their Legions, their elemental service groups, their local cadet units, and the many service organizations across our province. You answered a call to serve, and are serving still.

In gratitude to our Armed Forces – for taking a stand at home and on foreign soil so we can be free to believe and have opinions as we do, each to our own choice.

In gratitude to our Police and Peace Officers - for the safety and protection we take for granted, for the commitment to serve and protect communities and citizens.

In gratitude to our Firefighters – for taking on the flames of destruction and saving lives and property from the ravages of fire.

In gratitude to our EMS (EMT and paramedics) – for being the medically trained professionals who arrive on the scene of emergencies and catastrophes, for medical administration and care, for compassion and strength and life-saving skills.

In gratitude to our First Responders – for their quick arrival to scenes of trauma, their swift assessment, CPR and first aid care to those in need. Our ancestors threw to us the torch from failing hands. Do not let this torch fall in futility. Be it ours to hold high, not only with word, but if need, with action and strength, truth and integrity, for what is right, and good and true.
